TOURS & EVENTS
EXPERIENCE OUR SANCTUARY
Please be aware that Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center (SWCC) is not open to the public without an appointment or an event reservation. All tours, visits, and donation drop-offs must be scheduled in advance.
In light of current CDC guidelines, fully vaccinated people are cleared to be outside without masks among other fully vaccinated people with less risk. As all visits to SWCC are entirely outdoors, masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests. We will not be asking any guest for proof of vaccination, and being vaccinated does not fully prevent COVID-19 contraction. If you are concerned about contracting COVID-19, you are welcome to request your Trail Guide wear a mask, and you are welcome to continue to wear a mask to protect others as well. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. We will reschedule your tour for a later date at no cost.
Southwest Wildlife offers educational programs onsite at our sanctuary in northeast Scottsdale. Here are some of the programs we offer:
Guided tours of our wildlife sanctuary for groups up to 20 people.
Visit our sanctuary in the evening twilight!
Arizona is home to 28 species of bats, many of which live and forage right in our own backyards. Here’s your chance to see these fascinating creatures up close.
Join AZ Game and Fish Department biologist Jeff Meyers and SWCC staff on Zoom for monthly educational talks from the comfort of your own home!
Guided evening tours. Refreshments provided.
Tour our wildlife sanctuary with your students to learn how to safely coexist with native Arizona wildlife. Small groups get an up-close view of Southwest Wildlife as we share the compelling stories of our sanctuary residents.
To register for any of these programs, click the Book Now button on any of our experience pages linked above. Please note these programs are services provided by SWCC and therefore not considered tax deductible donations.
We look forward to seeing you!
