Fun and seasonal events throughout the year
Southwest Wildlife hosts seasonal and special events throughout the year that offer different ways to experience the sanctuary and connect with Arizona’s wildlife. These include educational programs, holiday celebrations, and one-of-a-kind special events. From Family Day and Enrichment Parties to seasonal gatherings and guest speakers, there’s something for every age and interest.
Event space is limited, so early registration is recommended. If an event sells out, join the waitlist, and we’ll let you know if spots open up.
Please note that Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center is not open to the public without a scheduled tour or event reservation.

Virtual Speaker Series with Arizona Game & Fish
November 6th, 2025 | 6:30–8:30 PM (via Zoom)
Join us for a virtual presentation about the amazing desert tortoises in Arizona, presented by Arizona Game and Fish biologists Cheyenne Towne and Jeff Meyers.
Happy Howl-O-Ween!
October 25th, 2025 | 4-6 PM
Enjoy a self-guided tour with trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt, pumpkin patch, carnival games, and family photo ops. Costumes are encouraged (with closed-toed shoes), and every guest will leave with a bag of treats and goodies!
Sip & Paint Under the Desert Moon
November 8th, 2025 | 4:00–6:00 PM
Join us for a magical evening at the Sanctuary! As the sun sets, you will sip wine, enjoy light bites, and paint your very own masterpiece inspired by the wolves of Southwest Wildlife.
Important Visitor Information
Reservations Required
Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center is not open to the public without an appointment or an event reservation. All tours, visits, and donation drop-offs must be scheduled in advance.
Rideshare Not Available
Please do not rely on ride-share services for transportation to our events and tours. Uber, Lyft, and taxi services do not guarantee drop-off or pick-up at our location.
Private Tours
For groups of 10 or more, a private tour is required. This is a great option for large groups or those who prefer a more personal experience.

Cancellation Policy
Guests may receive a full refund if they cancel at least 24 hours before their scheduled tour date and time. Weather related cancellations will be at SWCC’s descretion.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be considered a donation to support our mission.
