GIVING TUESDAY 2021
Join hundreds of thousands of passionate community members just like you and make a charitable donation this Giving Tuesday: November 30, 2021.
Five baby bears are counting on you!
From August - October this year, five orphaned black bears moved in at Southwest Wildlife.
It's hard work being a bear. The first 18 months of a baby bear's life is typically spent learning the tricks of foraging and survival. All five of these baby bears lost their mothers far too early, and would not have survived on their own out in the wild. Thanks to compassionate people like you, Southwest Wildlife was prepared to take all five of them in.
Now we need your help sustaining them until they can hopefully be released into the wild. It costs $30 to feed one baby bear for one day. Multiply that by five, then add the cost of feeding five adult black bears and two releasable juveniles, along with the hundreds of other animals in the care of Southwest Wildlife... and the total keeps climbing.
Please open your heart this Giving Tuesday to the animals of Southwest Wildlife and donate to their care. Thanks to you, they'll have full bellies and safe beds this holiday season. Click here to read more about Giving Tuesday.
