You will make special enrichment Valentine’s Day gifts for our permanent wild residents, using materials provided by SWCC.  Then, during a tour of our Nature Center, you will help to deliver the
gifts and watch the animals enjoy them!

What is enrichment?
For a wild animal keeper, maintaining an animal’s health and well-being while in captivity includes providing enrichment for them.  Anything that can alleviate boredom and stimulate their minds to investigate and interact with their surroundings can be considered enriching.
