F811 Esperanza

F811 Esperanza Mexican Gray Wolf Southwest Wildlife Scottsdale Arizona

Mexican gray wolf F811, Esperanza, is a beautiful wolf born at the Endangered Wolf Center in 2003. 

Esperanza lived at the Wolf Conservation Center in New York and the Albuquerque Biological Park in New Mexico before moving to the Navajo Nation Zoo at Window Rock, Arizona.  She lived there for many years with her long-time mate Rico (M611) who passed away in 2014. 

She is now living at Southwest Wildlife with a younger male wolf, M887, Vermillion.  Her brother, Sabio (M804) moved to Southwest Wildlife in December 2015. 

She can occasionally be seen in her enclosure on the tour route.
